Here's a visual salvo for track "Niggas in Poorest" from the artist formerly known as Mos Def (now Yasiin Bey), with a timely launch on the anniversary of Malcolm X's death. We featured the freestyle a while back, but this newer version has updated lyrics and better production. The video looks like they had $25 and about 10 minutes to do it - those fonts are just plain nasty - but retains a certain lo-fi charm, and reinforces the central proposition of the track. "Niggas in Poorest" is from a forthcoming album titled "Top 40 Underdogs" which features versions, or reinterpretations of modern day hits.
